WFM Winter Market Featured in Washington Post

The Westover Farmers Market is in full swing this winter, with many fresh and prepared foods to take home each Sunday.  Winter blues?  Some red velvet doughnuts might be just the thing.  Tired of soggy greens from the grocery?  Our vendors have plenty of fresh, locally-grown fruits and veggies.  Can’t BBQ in 10 below?  Well, you might try some charcuterie or go for a nice roast instead.  Even the Washington Post took notice of the goods this week – you can check out their feature on the market here.

In case you missed it, the Washington Post ran a very nice article about the Westover neighborhood as part of its “where we live” series – available here.  The piece had very nice coverage of the Westover Farmers Market, which has become an important selling point for the neighborhood, along with several of the other local attractions that make Westover a unique and fabulous place to call home.
