We all know that strange feeling when you realize that something you thought occurred a few weeks ago actually occurred a few months ago! The feeling presents itself more so as a shock…a shock of how quickly time goes by. Well, it’s 2016 and I’ve been waiting to share this recipe since May 2015…8 months ago. The Westover Farmers Market will be open this Sunday during usual winter hours, 9 – 1. Vendors will be back with their seasonal fruits and vegetables and with wonderful baked goods and other locally prepared foods. Come to the market to see where all of last Sunday’s snow has been placed! A monumental effort by local market volunteers to get the market reopened.
On account of the impending snow and the likelihood of difficult travel conditions, the Westover Farmers Market will not take place on January 24. Impromptu snow angel competition on the Reed School plaza instead. Stay safe, and see you on January 31.
